How to Get Books from a Web Page Hosted on Your Mac
- For Mac users, open System Preferences and click Sharing.
- Select Web Sharing.
- Put the ebook files into the web sharing folder.
- Tap “+” and select “Add Web Page”.
- Enter, say, “Books on my home computer” as “Book Source Name”, and “http://192.168.1.10/~ambibma/books” as “Web Page Address”.
- Tap “Books on my home computer”.
- Tap on any book link, say, “Gulliver's Travels.epub”.
- Confirm to start download.
